Ventura County is located between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.
Stretching from Westlake Village to Santa Barbara and from the Pacific Ocean to the mountains, Ventura County offers just about every type of Southern California living.   Often referred to as the Gold Coast, Ventura County has a reputation of being one of the safest populated places and one of the most affluent places in the country. Most of this land is in the Los Padres National Forest, and includes the Chumash Wilderness.
